Blend IT

Blend IT is a national partnership project from the BLC, Transform Education and Edtech UK that builds capacity, skills and capabilities across education to deliver blended learning for recovery and key subjects.

Why Blended Learning?

Blended learning is an approach to curriculum delivery where face to face teaching is combined with planned and structured online resources, activities and assessments.

Incorporating blended learning into your school brings a number of advantages to the students, teachers and organisation; flexibility and efficiency savings for the school, saving time for teachers and for students by designing a rich and engaging learning experience that develops curriculum strengths, independent learning, assessment tools and supports face to face teaching.

Developing Blended Learning models can enhance partnerships with parents. Parents could be given access to view blended learning courses and support pupil progress building on that vital school / parent relationship that has deepened during lockdown.
